With its own advantages, full-color LED electronic display has long life, energy saving and environmental protection, superior display performance, low loss, and wide application fields, successfully replacing most of the outdoor display devices. The main features and various options are described below.


1、Long lifespan: The normal lifespan of the LED display is 80,000 to 100,000 hours, and it works 24 hours a day, and its lifespan is almost 10 years. Therefore, the life of led display is several times that of traditional display devices.


2、Energy saving and environmental protection. The LED light source used in the LED display is a solid cold light source, encapsulated by epoxy resin, and there are no loose parts in the lamp body. There are no shortcomings such as filament luminescence, heat deposition, and light decay. Under normal circumstances, the service life can reach 60,000 to 100,000 hours, which is more than 10 times longer than that of LCD displays. LED displays are made of non-toxic materials, unlike LCD screens that contain pollutants, and LEDs can also be recycled and reused. There are no ultraviolet and infrared rays in the spectrum, neither heat nor radiation, low glare, cold light source, safe to touch, and a typical green display light source.


3、Superior display performance: the brightness of the outdoor LED display is greater than 8000mcd/m2, which is currently the only large-scale display terminal that can be used outdoors all-weather; the brightness of the indoor LED display is greater than 2000md/m2. The LED display adopts high-brightness patches, so it has the advantages of LED light-emitting components, and the light color is pure, soft, and glare-free. It can be used not only for decoration but also for lighting purposes. It can play a variety of videos, display images and text, clear video images, various computer information, graphics, pictures and 2D and 3D animations, etc., has a large capacity for storing data information, and has a synchronous display function.


4、Low calorific value: The light-emitting element of the LED display is an LED. Since the power of a single LED is very low, generally 0.04~0.08w, the calorific value is not high. It can be used as decorative lighting in the fish tank, without generating a lot of heat and causing the water temperature to rise, affecting the growth of ornamental fish.


5、Wide range of applications: LED display screens are widely used in building outlines, steps, booths, bridges, hotels, ktv decorative lighting, as well as the production of advertising signs, various large-scale animations, and advertising designs for calligraphy and painting because of their thinness and pure colors. and other places. With the gradual maturity of LED display technology, its application range will be more extensive.


a. Dot matrix module scheme: the earliest design scheme, developed from indoor pseudo-color dot matrix screen

Advantages: The cost of raw materials is the most advantageous, and the production and processing technology is simple and the quality is stable.

Disadvantages: The color consistency is poor, the mosaic phenomenon is serious, and the display effect is poor.


b.Single lamp solution: In order to solve the color problem of the dot matrix screen, a solution based on the outdoor display technology is adopted, and the outdoor pixel multiplexing technology (also called pixel sharing technology, virtual pixel technology) is transplanted to the indoor display screen.

Advantages: The color consistency is better than that of the dot matrix module.

Disadvantages: The color mixing effect is not good, the viewing angle is not large, and there is chromatic aberration when viewed from left to right in the horizontal direction. The processing is more complicated, and the antistatic requirements are high. It is difficult to achieve an actual pixel resolution of more than 10,000 points.


c.SMD scheme: The scheme adopts SMD luminescent tube as the display element.

Advantages: Color consistency, viewing angle and other important display indicators are the best among the existing solutions, especially the color mixing effect of the three-in-one surface sticker is very good.


d.Sub-surface sticker scheme: It is actually an improvement of the single lamp scheme, and it is still being perfected.

Advantages: There is not much difference between the primary indicators such as display color consistency and viewing angle and the labeling scheme, but the cost is low, the display effect is very good, and the resolution can theoretically reach more than 17200.

Disadvantages: The processing is still relatively complicated, and the antistatic requirements are high.
